Tokyo: The Meiji Shinto Shrine
For our final day in Japan, it was back to Tokyo and and exploration of the spiritual side of the city. Japanese people are fond of saying that they are born in Shintoism and die in Buddhism. First up was the Meiji Shinto Shrine. Then we visited the Senso-Ji Buddhist Temple. Then it was a return to Narita Airport for our flight back to Washington, DC.
